Researched markets for possible new products, reviewed risk/reward ratios, and scrapped unprofitable ideas and experiments quickly. Interviewed customers, studied their work flow, found inefficiencies, and proposed new product designs to solve those inefficiencies. Customer trips to San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
User interface design
Designed and tested throwaway prototype designs with customer base. Redesigned product user interface from ground up, to appeal specifically to customer base. Balanced functionality of user interface design with ease of use. Proposed new user interface designs for smartphone, tablet, and desktop using Balsamiq Mockups and Photoshop. Implemented designs using JUCE and produced working user interfaces for code integration.
Development management
Created master Microsoft Project in order to track deadlines and deliverables. Provided technical support to end users. Helped curate sounds used for product demo.
